Welcome to the family!
We're so glad you're here.
If you are new to our products you may have questions. We have answers.
Let's start by explaining what a LGS massage butter is
Our butters start with all-natural ingredients that are chosen for their healing properties.
(Learn more about what each does here)
For example, each of our adult butters starts with an infusion of arnica, which aids circulation and relieves pain. Baby Butter features more gentle herbs like: lavender, chamomile, calendula, and marshmallow root. Our herbal infusion then act as a carrier for powerful essential oils (in our adult butters) that are blended to target different concerns. We also utilize some of the best natural butters and oils found in nature for skin health. These ingredients are all incorporated to create a luxurious whipped butter that is solid at room temperature, but that melts on the skin to an oil that is perfect for massage. Here's the best part- our process results in a massage oil that brings powerful therapeutic benefits, without leaving you greasy!
How do you use it though?
If you're thrown because you don't get massages, that's fine! Our butters work the same as your (formerly) favorite pain cream does. Rub it in where it hurts. If you DO get massages, be sure to bring your butter with you as the act of massaging with your butter will allow its circulation-enhancing power to go even further. Pro-tip: when using your butter for the first time, start small. A little goes a lot way as our butters are very concentrated. Add more as needed, but start with a lesser amount and go from there.
Balance Butter says it's for stress. Where would I put that?
Wherever you can smell it! As the terpenes of the various essential oils are inhaled they signal your brain to release calming hormones and lower your overall stress levels, while boosting your mood. Bonus? Many of the ingredients in Balance are naturally anti-inflammatory as well, so the therapeutic benefits are manifold.
Uh-oh. My butter melted!
Alas, the struggle is real. Because we don't use any synthetic stabilizers in our butters, they do run the risk of melting. We like to say that if it's warm enough for coconut oil to melt, your butter might soften. Here's the good news: it will still work the same way as a liquid as it did when it was a decadent and fluffy solid. In fact, placing it somewhere cool will allow it to reharden. If you want to re-fluff it so it can be all decadent again, grab a hand mixer and mix at a high speed for several minutes until the color lightens and it regains the consistency of whipped cream.
