LGS started with a question
When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I started asking myself what kind of mom I wanted to be.
I hadn't grown up around natural wellness. But as I started exploring that world, something clicked. For thousands of years, our pharmacies were our gardens. In relatively recent history we started swapping out natural ingredients for chemical copies — and I started to wonder if we'd given something up in the process.
So I bought textbooks. I studied aromatherapy and herbal medicine. And then I started formulating — not to start a business, but to help my own family.
My mom has fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease, and spinal fusion. She is in pain every single day. My cousin has arthritis. My aunt has depression. My dad works out constantly. And I kept having kids. Every product we make started as a mission to bring relief to the people I love most.
Our products worked so well that others wanted them for their own families — and Little Golden Shepherd was born. Our oldest daughter Aurelya's name translates from Romanian to "Golden Shepherd." She inspired our whole natural journey, so it only made sense that she inspired our name.
